I/ITSEC 2015: SimCentric brings the crowds to VBS
SimCentric Technologies is displaying two new technologies to enhance virtual training at I/ITSEC.
The company is showcasing its new Ambience technology that allows end users to add a background pattern of life to simulation. Both humans and vehicles can be added to virtual cities.
‘So far the US Army is using crowd Ambience and the US Marine Corps is also using the technology,’ said Gareth Collier, director of strategic engagement at SimCentric.
‘Before this you would have to have specifically scripted behaviour, which takes up to three or four hours to script and patterns are easy to spot for people
