Rheinmetall will soon complete the incremental update of its NH90 training software for the German Army.
The company displayed its Asterion cockpit procedure and maintenance trainer at I/ITSEC in Orlando which Rheinmetall is delivering to the Bundeswehr. The company has delivered three of the training capabilities in an NH90 configuration with accompanying mock cockpit hardware.
‘The Asterion software is currently being delivered in module increments to the Bundeswehr and the full module will be ready by the end of 2016,’ Jurgen Uthmann, senior system engineer at Rheinmetall told Shephard.
