HUTC to train Spanish Civil Guard pilots
Heli Union Training Center (HUTC) has received a 24-month contract from the Spanish Civil Guard to train 30 pilots.
Under the contract, HUTC will provide training with a full flight simulator corresponding to the Dauphin AS365 N3 aircraft type at its Angouleme Airport facility in France.
The training will include emergency procedures exercises, instrument flight rules (IFR) navigation, harsh condition flights and others.
Certified by the DGAC and EASA, the HUTC simulator allows users to perform several types of training, ranging from ab initio and recurrent training to specific programmes covering failure procedures, IFR, offshore and rescue operations, night flight with night vision goggles, flights over mountainous regions and low altitude navigation.
