FAAC receives ATMP support contract
Arotech’s FAAC has received a subcontract to support the US Army’s Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP), Arotech announced on 7 January.
The $14 million subcontract, awarded by Lockheed Martin Corporation Rotary and Mission Systems, is for a period of seven years. The first support period through June 2019 has been fully funded with six option periods to cover the remaining period of performance.
Under the contract, FAAC will provide technical expertise and staff maintenance positions of various skill levels at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri; and Camp Shelby and Camp McCain, Mississippi.
As part of Lockheed Martin’s ATMP team, FAAC will also have the opportunity to bid to support other simulator upgrade/improvement efforts above and beyond the scope of the current support subcontract.
ATMP provides worldwide maintenance support for TADSS, digital ranges and combat training center instrumentation systems.
Lockheed Martin received a seven-year, $3.5 billion contract to sustain US Army’s training systems in March 2018.
