Exercise Ample Strike concludes in Czech Republic
An international flavour provided added spice to the recently concluded Exercise Ample Strike 2018, which ran from 3-14 September, with personnel from 19 NATO and Partnership for Peace (PfP) nations taking part.
For nearly two weeks the Czech Air Force air base at Náměšť nad Oslavou hosted 300 international participants, who operated with around 900 military service members for the biggest Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) manoeuvres in Europe this year.
The aim for the exercise was to provide participants in the air and on the ground with scenarios that were as life-like as possible.
