DSET 2018: Dutch army to deliver air defence training solution
The Royal Netherlands Army (RNLA) Simulation Centre is shortly to deliver a prototype training system to the Dutch School for Air Defence in De Peel.
The system features an augmented DJI Phantom drone (pictured) that can be used by Stinger operators to track, obtain target lock and then simulate an engagement.
Known as the Remote Controlled Air Defence Target System (RCADTS), the solution was developed at the RNLA Simulation Centre in conjunction with the Dutch air defence school.
