T-AGOS class renamed Explorer and new vessels named
The US Navy’s large, fast surveillance vessels have been renamed as a new class.
The Netherlands Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) has agreed a multi-year extension of its VBS3 enterprise licence with Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim).
As well as the licences for VBS3, MINDEF has also renewed licences for the product’s application programming interface (API), VBS Fusion, as well as VBS3Fires, a forward observer and close air support training system developed by SimCentric Technologies.
The Netherlands MINDEF has been an early adopter of serious games-based technologies that have also included Steel Beasts Pro from German company, eSim Games.
