Cubic tailors mortar simulator for the US Army
The company’s mortar trainer received improvements based on soldier’s feedback.
Following the UK Secretary of State Gavin Williamson’s recent speech that defined the future global role of the Royal Navy, the service is looking at how it trains to meet these new deployments.
Much of this operational training is conducted by the Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST) organisation headquartered at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Devonport.
‘The future will see semi-permanent deployments of carrier and littoral strike groups and instead of training single ships as we’ve done in the past, there will be increased emphasis on collective training,’ explained FOST, RAdm William Warrender.

The system can be used to prepare soldiers for both drone offensive operations and CUAS missions.
