Cubic receives USMC training contract
Cubic Global Defense has received a contract worth $11.5 million from the US Marine Corps (USMC) to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Systems Support (MTSS) programme, the company announced on 2 November.
The six-month contract will see Cubic provide training in marine warfighting skills, command post exercises, battle staff training, mission rehearsal exercises and mobile C4 training; in addition to combat simulation ranging from individual to joint and combined staff training.
The MTSS training programme prepares senior commanders and their staff to operate across the range of military operations and within the context of joint and/or combined task force environments.
Dave Buss, president of Cubic Global Defense, said: ‘The MTSS programme provides the functional and technical training services necessary to plan, prepare and execute the USMC individual, unit and staff training events.
‘As the leader in providing performance-based training solutions focused on the mission readiness of our armed forces, we are excited to be partnered with the marines once again to assist in improving their warfighting skills.’
