Cubic tailors mortar simulator for the US Army

Cubic Corporation is renovating and upgrading its San Diego manufacturing facility to accommodate the production and testing of air combat training components, the company announced on 25 January.
The upgraded facility will support the manufacture and testing of components for pods, ground subsystems and secure components for its live, virtual and constructive (LVC) air combat training systems.
Cubic currently has three manufacturing centres in the US and Mexico, all with established and active supply chains, that specialise in various components of its air combat manoeuvring instrumentation pods and LVC systems.
Cubic is upgrading its facilities to perform the final assembly and testing of its new secure LVC pods. The facility at Cubic's San Diego headquarters will serve as the main manufacturing hub for Cubic's LVC air combat training systems.

The Engineering Corps has been conducting individual instruction using FLAIM Systems’ Sweeper and should start collective deployments in 2025.
The next-generation platform is motion-compatible and can be used in OTW and NVG applications.
The system can be used to prepare soldiers for both drone offensive operations and CUAS missions.
