L3 Technologies to upgrade Greek F-16 ATDs
L3 Technologies will upgrade Hellenic Air Force F-16 Aircrew Training Devices (ATD) under a $28 million contract announced on 2 January.
The contract, issued by the US Air Force to fulfil a foreign military sale order, will see the company upgrade the Hellenic Air Force F-16 ATDs to the F-16V configuration.
The ATD enable pilots to practice air-to-air and air-to ground combat skills by acquiring and identifying targets to deliver a range of ordnance.
Work will be complete by the end of 2027.
