The USAF has extended by six months its contract with CAE USA for the KC-135 Aircrew Training System (ATS).
The $16.09 million extension, announced by the DoD on 13 August, brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $526.98 million.
CAE USA will perform work at ten bases in the continental US, as well as at Kadena Air Base, Japan; Ramstein Air Base, Germany; and RAF Mildenhall in the UK.
In all, the company provides aircrew training services at 13 USAF bases in the US and internationally where more than 3,500 KC-135 pilots, co-pilots and boom operators train annually.
