As the Royal Air Force prepares for the integration of its latest RPAS, the GA-ASI Protector RG Mk1, an important milestone has been achieved with the award of a training contract to CAE.
The initial contract from GA-ASI covers a single Protector Mission Trainer (PMT) and a number of desktop training systems however, with the RAF wanting to undertake up to 80% of its training in the synthetic environment, it is possible that the number of training systems could increase in the future.
CAE will also provide brief/debrief and scenario generation stations as part of the overall synthetic
