CACI to continue ACE-IOS support
The US Air Force (USAF) has awarded a contract to CACI International to support its Air, Space and Cyberspace Constructive Environment - Information Operations Suite (ACE-IOS), the company announced on 20 January.
The three-year contract is valued at $25 million. The company will provide continued support to Air Operations Center (AOC) Information Operations training by providing full-system lifecycle and development support, including validation, verification, exercise and test functions.
The training suite simulates kinetic and non-kinetic battlefield activities and AOC command and control systems, immersing airmen in a realistic combat environment. It also creates a realistic cyber environment to provide computer network attack and defence training.
John Mengucci, chief operating officer and president of US Operations, CACI, said: ‘This contract award is a testament to our innovative integration of technical engineering and scientific analysis of cyber threats and information operations to add a robust capability to the air force's training simulation suite.’
Ken Asbury, president and chief executive officer, CACI, said: ‘The support we will continue to provide to the air force and cyber command keeps CACI at the forefront of cyber training for America's military. We are proud to continue to play a role in keeping America's military trained and ready for action.’
