Aechelon’s image generators for MV-22 sims
Aechelon Technology has been contracted by Veraxx Engineering to provide nine image generators for the US Marine Corps' MV-22 training devices, the company announced on 24 October.
Veraxx is a subcontractor to Bell Helicopter, the prime contractor for the programme responsible for delivering modifications and upgrades to the MV-22 Containerised Flight Training Device, Flight Training Device and Full Flight Simulator.
Under the programme, the current image generators located within the MV-22 trainers will be replaced. Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA v7.5 and v 8.0 Image Generators for the multi-channel out the window display systems.
