ADECS 2018: Thailand’s first T-50TH trainers arrive home

The first two Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) T-50TH trainer jets for the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) belatedly arrived in Thailand on 25 January, after a delay due to engine issues on their ferry flight from South Korea.

Two more T-50s will arrive in March to complete the first batch. Another eight aircraft of the second batch will arrive in 2019. All will enter service in 401 Squadron of Wing 4 at Takhli Air Force Base.
