Japan to set up DARPA-style institute to tackle evolving threat of cyber warfare
Japan’s Ministry of Defense is devoting government-level effort and funding to tackling the growing problem of cyber warfare.
USSOCOM is preparing to hold a technical experimentation (TE) event focused on enhancing the capabilities of special operations forces combat swimmers/divers.
The upcoming event was outlined in a special notice released on 7 August 2019.
According to the announcement, USSOCOM is planning to hold the TE 20-1 event to provide participants with the opportunity to gain SOF insight and perspective on participant technologies across a range of topics impacting SOF combat swimmer/divers, underwater communications and human performance.
The event is planned for 18-22 November 2019 at the US Army Special Forces Underwater Operations School, located at Naval Air Station,
