SOFINS 2019: France’s Special Operations Command to continue innovating

French special operations forces must be equipped with the cutting-edge technology necessary to defeat increasingly creative and intelligent adversaries, Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly announced on 3 April.

Addressing delegates at the official opening of the biennial Special Operations Forces Innovation Network Seminar (SOFINS) at Camp de Souge, France, Parly urged France’s Special Operations Command (COS), other government agencies and industry partners to continue to innovate and progress in the discovery of new technology.
