SOFIC 2018: New breaching shotgun option moves forward

Crye Precision and Valen Arms’ SIX12 Modular Add-On shotgun will be made available to customers by the end of the year, company officials have disclosed.

The 6-round, 12-gauge, cylinder-fed shotgun has been designed to be integrated onto the rail adaptor system (RAS) of any assault rifle or carbine, providing an integrated and more rapidly deployed solution for breaching serials.

Speaking to Shephard at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) in Tampa, Florida on 23 May, Crye Precision brand manager, Ernesto Rodriguez explained how the weapon would likely be unveiled at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas in January
