SOFIC 2018: AeroVironment receives Switchblade for USMC

The US Army has awarded AeroVironment a procurement contract for its Switchblade Lethal Miniature Aerial Missile System (LMAMS).

At SOFIC 2018, the company announced that it has received a contract worth $111 million for a Switchblade buy and additional logistical support. Funds were freed up for additional Switchblade procurement after an urgent needs statement and this contract will support the first deliveries to the US Marine Corps.
