Engineering specialist Mira is finalising tests for its Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) and getting production ready after recent successes partnering with UAE based NIMR.
The RIV, specifically designed for special forces, will be built in the UAE and could be production ready within 12 months, according to Robert Mohacsi, senior global sales manager at MIRA.
To date, the company has built three of the vehicles, one of which is with NIMR in the UAE, the other is currently at Mira's site in the UK carrying out demonstrations on its test track. The vehicle was first showcased by NIMR during IDEX
