SOF seeking strategic transporter system

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is seeking a transporter system for strategic movement of its three “Sealion” Combatant Craft Heavy (CCH) platforms. Interest in the system was recently outlined in a request for information issued on behalf of the Maritime Program Executive Office (PEO-M) Program Manager for Surface Systems (PM-SS).

According to the August 15, 2018 announcement, the overall objective of the RfI is to conduct market research in support of preliminary planning for the acquisition of one CCH transporter to provide over the road transport and aircraft loading and unloading for the CCH fleet.
