SOF school teaches coastal patrol skills

As United States Special Operations Command’s only international security force assistance training center, the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS) trains and educates partner nation “SOF-like” foreign security forces, and international SOF enablers.

Located at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, and reporting to Naval Special Warfare Group-4 (NSWG-4), the school provides a wide range of strategic, operational and tactical courses. While the school name reflects a naval lineage, only about one third of today’s classes have a pure naval focus.
