SOF looks to next generation Combatant Craft Heavy

Collaborative efforts focused on assessing the current industrial capability to design a new craft, or modify an existing design, to meet the requirements for the notional Combatant Craft Heavy Mark 2 (CCH Mk2) program have been announced by the USSOCOM’s Program Executive Office – Maritime, Program Manager – Surface Systems, and the SOFWERX enterprise. 

The next planned milestone in the Mk2 effort will be a Capability Collaboration Event planned for 27-28 March 2019. Open to US citizens only, the event will include participation by USSOCOM as well as the command’s government, industry, academic, and laboratory partners.
