Japan’s Ministry of Defense is devoting government-level effort and funding to tackling the growing problem of cyber warfare.
US-based technology specialist Pison has released an updated control software suite which will allow forward-deployed personnel to control sUAS in a heads-up manner.
Responding to demand signals from the US Army and Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) for a hands-free solution to control sUAS , Pison’s Papa software was released on 1 September 2020. It is used to network the control system of an sUAS to the company’s wrist-borne Gesture Activated Machine Biological Interface Tether (GAMBIT).
