Japan to set up DARPA-style institute to tackle evolving threat of cyber warfare
Japan’s Ministry of Defense is devoting government-level effort and funding to tackling the growing problem of cyber warfare.
Dutch special forces will continue to support the development of Iraqi Special Operations Forces (ISOF) and Kurdish Special Mission Units (SMUs) through to the end of 2019, official documents have revealed.
According to papers disclosed by the Dutch government on 14th September, special forces will continue to support NATO training objectives in Iraq’s Capital of Baghdad as well as in the Kurdistan Autonomous Region (KAR).
The document, entitled “Dutch contribution to the anti-ISIS coalition and the broad security deployment in Iraq in 2019,” described how operators would remain in Iraq until at least 31st December 2019.
