IDF prepares for multinational SOF exercise

Israeli special operations forces are set to host a multinational exercise towards the end of 2018 designed to encourage extended levels of cooperation and interoperability in combat search and rescue (CSAR), a senior service official has disclosed.

Speaking to Shephard, an official source associated with the Israeli Air Force (IAF) explained how Exercise Sky Angels would be conducted between 4th and 15th November with participants expected to come from the armed forces of Australia, Canada, France, the UK and the US. 

The IAF was unable to confirm exactly which force elements would be present at the event as invitations
