Netherlands Special Operations Command (NLD SOCOM) has received its final Vector Air Transportable Tactical Vehicle (ATTV), manufacturer Defenture revealed via social media on 11 July.
In all, 75 of the 4x4 off-road vehicles have been delivered to the Dutch armed forces.
Vector is based upon the GRF 5.12 Platform, a chassis designed by Defenture to be used as the foundation for a range of modular vehicles, including the ATTV, a pickup truck, a logistics vehicle and a small ambulance.
This chassis features optional four-wheel steering and an independent rear suspension in order to provide a high off-road capability. The platform is of a lightweight construction to facilitate its transportation by air, and also includes multiple tie-down points to secure the chassis for transport by road, rail, air or sea.
Vector is optimised for transport in CH-47 helicopters or other comparable transport aircraft and helicopters.
