AUSA 2016: Colt launches new SF rifle
A new short-barrelled rifle (SBR) 5.56mm variant of the M4 rifle – called the SCW0923 – has been launched by Colt.
The rifle is designed with additional features that will make it easier for concealment and movement in confined spaces that are suited for SF and security service missions.
SCW0923 has a new collapsible buttstock available in steel or titanium that is the same length or lighter than existing M4 variants and has a quick pull release to enable the rifle to be brought into the firing position much faster.
