UDT Europe: New Applied Acoustics systems available

 Applied Acoustic Engineering (AAE) will promote its range of Easytrak Ultra Short Baseline (USBL) underwater positioning and tracking system at UDT Europe in Bremen, Germany.

The Nexus Lite is AAE’s latest USBL positioning and tracking system and is compatible with a variety of AAE positioning beacons, legacy products and other transponders.

The system has bi-directional sigma spread spectrum acoustics and full hemispherical tracking with software options for calibration and geo-referenced graphical overlays.

The surface console, designed to be used in a vessel’s operating room, has been mounted within a rugged 1U enclosure for USB connection to a laptop in order to reduce overall
