UDT Europe 2019: Scorpene solution would give Poland best conventional force in NATO
As competition for Poland’s submarine replacement programme continues, French design and manufacturing house Naval Group considers its Scorpene-based solution capable of providing the country with NATO’s most powerful conventional submarine fleet.
Naval Group provides a range of naval services to customers all over the world and has achieved success with its Scorpene SSK design in Brazil and India (pictured). Its conventional-powered Barracuda variant, a derivative of the nuclear-powered French counterpart, was also selected by the Australian Navy.
