SGA14: Boeing eyes Asia Pacific for maritime security opportunities
Boeing has forecast continued growth in the Asia-Pacific market, having identified areas of interest across the maritime security, cyber and C4ISR domains, company officials have revealed.
The company expects maritime security to be of increasing importance in the region, with requirements for platforms such as the P-8 Poseidon with anti-submarine and anti-surface capabilities of interest to regional navies, Jim Armington, VP East Asia and Pacific, international business development, explained at a media briefing on 10 February prior to the Singapore Airshow.
