Malaysian naval helicopters are due from 2022
The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) will take delivery of three maritime operations helicopters in the 2022-24 timeframe. The RMN is also planning to acquire additional ships, helicopters and UAVs under the 12th Malaysia Plan of 2021-25.
Speaking in his 2021 address to the navy on 22 January, RMN Chief Adm Reza Sany stated that a contract for three helicopters had been signed on 2 September 2020, with the first aircraft to be delivered on 30 October 2022, the second on 31 May 2023 and the final one on 28 February 2024.
