Opinion: Will diplomatic gulf threaten Iran stance?
Following the recent rise in tensions between the UK and Iran over the detention of the tanker MV Grace 1 by Royal Marine Commandos, the Royal Navy is to deploy the destroyer HMS Duncan to the Middle East to provide additional reassurance to UK-flagged merchant ships in the region amid Iranian threats to retaliate in kind.
