Leonardo unveils new range of naval weapon systems
Designed and developed in-house, the four-model family consists of the Ultralight, Inner Reloading and Top in the 12.7mm calibre, with the model 20 configured at 20mm.
According to a 23 October release the systems have been developed with a common architecture and are suitable for installation on board any type of vessel as a primary or secondary weapon system.
In addition, electro-optical sensors are also integrated into the weapon systems, enabling target identification both at night and during the day.
