L3 KEO wins photonics mast contract
L3 KEO has been awarded a contract to develop and test EO sensor technology for USN submarines.
The deal for the L3 Harris subsidiary is valued at up to $135.8 million over five years.
The company will provide engineering and technical support for photonic masts under the cost-plus-incentive-fee contract, the DoD announced on 2 July
Work will be completed by June 2025.
L3 KEO has prior experience of providing low-profile photonics masts for USN Virginia-class submarines.
