ISDEF 2017: New regional interest for D-Collar RHIBs

Maritime platform supplier Brunswick has disclosed that there is regional interest in its D-Collar rigid hull inflatable boats, more commonly referred to as RHIBs, at the ISDEF exhibition and conference in Tel Aviv last week.

Brunswick’s D-Collar design was added to its existing 8.5m Impact 850 RHIB in 2015 and rolled out further across its RHIB range to include the 750 Impact as well as the 10-, 11- and 12m models.

The D-Collar concept features a hybrid air/foam-filled collar with a solid fiberglass gunnel that combines the characteristics of an air-holding and foam-filled insert collar to create a platform that
