IMDEX Asia: ST Kinetics to move Humdinga into production

Singapore Technologies Kinetics (STK) plans to move the Humdinga amphibious 4x4 truck into production this year, and is confident of securing a launch customer shortly.

The company has been carrying out demonstrations of the vehicle’s ability to quickly transition between land and water at the IMDEX Asia maritime defence show.

The Humdinga is capable of more than 100 km/h on roads and transitions to a speedboat in water, capable of more than 50km/h in up to sea state four.

With a kerb weight of 2,750kg, the vehicle can carry a payload of 1,000kg, while the deck space can be configured
