GDA 2017: Lurssen highlights shipbuilding capabilities (video)

Fresh from what some perceived as an unlikely victory in the Australian Sea 1180 programme, German ship designer and builder Lurssen arrived at Gulf Defence and Aerospace in Kuwait keen to highlight its industrial capabilities.

With legacy programmes for the Kuwait Navy Force still being supported by the company, Lurssen has attended each iteration of the show. Speaking to Shephard, Jörg Ahrens, Middle East sales director, said that the company was also looking to future in-country prospects.
