Euronaval 2018: Some processes ‘not good enough’ in River class programme

BAE Systems officials have said that some of its processes were not up to standard for the start of its five-ship build of Batch 2 River-class OPVs, destined for the UK Royal Navy.

Additionally, part of the reason for the award of the OPV programme was to bring about an uplift in industrial capability to the company ahead of the Type 26 order, officials said.
