Euronaval 2016: Vittoria Shipyard build prototype fast patrol craft

Cantiere Navale Vittoria Shipyard is looking to further its business in the maritime defence and security market with the introduction of three types of fast attack craft.

The interceptors are named at present according to their length in feet – 43’, 49’ and 65’. The 65’ (pictured) is claimed to be able to reach a top speed of 75kt, with a cruising speed of 55kt and range of more than 500nm. This prototype is aiming to complete the Venezia-Montecarlo speed challenge in 22 hours.
