DSEI 2017: Maritime Harop munition unveiled
IAI has unveiled its latest iteration of its loitering munition, the Maritime Harop, at DSEI 2017 in London.
The Maritime Harop is a long endurance munition that can be launched from various platforms, such as OPVs, and is equipped with various UAV capabilities.
The technology adjustments for the Maritime Harop include a launcher with a new maritime configuration and adjustments of the communication channel of the loitering munition.
According to the company, the new marine capabilities of the Harop provide an operational response for a range of naval vessels, from offshore patrol vessels to naval frigates.
