As the Royal Navy looks to integrate new vessels into its fleet, including the new Type 26, Shephard spoke with BAE Systems' Type 23 class output manager, Martin Wheatley, about the challenges that come with maintaining one of the current fleet of vessels that has had its service life extended into the 2020's and beyond.
