DIMDEX 2018: Leonardo launches new naval gun
A wide range of naval gun systems are being displayed at DIMDEX in Qatar as Leonardo showcases its new Marlin 40 naval gun mount for the first time.
The company seeks to provide a solution to navies which are increasingly using fast, lightweight vessels to carry out patrol missions.
The OTO Marlin 40 is a 40mm solution that can be used as a ships main armament or as a secondary solution.
While the company could not comment on specific customers it confirmed that it is currently in ongoing negotiations.
