BAE Systems to oversee USN identification and data link systems
BAE Systems on 18 June was awarded a $85.91 million cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursable, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract by the USN Air Warfare Centre Aircraft Division.
The contract covers the provision for in-service engineering and production services across various Navy identification and data link systems which support the Combat Integration and Identification Systems division.
The company will also carry out design and feasibility evaluations, component and system design, system integration, production, installation and testing, in-service engineering logistics, repair and validation, training, lab maintenance, quality assurance and technical management.
No funding has been obligated at the time of award and work is expected to be finalised by June 2025. Funding will be provided on an individual order basis.
