US DOD awards contract to CCDS
The US Army Space and Missile Defence Command/ Armed Forces Strategic Command has awarded a contract to Chrysler Commercial Distribution Services Ltd of Gibraltar for the supply of Jeep J8 vehicles, together with associated services, parts, special tools, and training.
This contract, which runs to 2015, is for the supply of vehicles and associated services for Counter Narcotics operations in Central and South America, though the army may, at its discretion, use the contract for other purchases. Jeep J8 is the ideal tactical vehicle for the jungles and mountains of Central and South America, and the knowledge that the US Army has placed it's faith in Jeep J8 will give CCDS renewed confidence in our efforts to market the Jeep J8 around the globe
Crucially, the army required NATO-style after sales support, with appropriate parts, special tools, and above all, training. CCDS is fully committed to a full support service for the lifetime of the vehicle for each and every customer, in order to ensure that investment in the product is maximised.
