Ukroboronprom (UOP) has completed production of Oplot-T main battle tanks for the Royal Thai Army, the company announced on 26 March.
The combat vehicles have successfully undergone testing and are now set for delivery.
The company will now begin work on new and upgraded vehicles for the Ukraine armed forces. The Oplot tank has been in service with the Ukranian Army since 2009. The vehicles will be integrated with new digital sighting system and fire control system equipment.
Work on the Oplot tanks is being carried out in coordination with the Ukraine Ministry of Defence. The scope of work will also include upgrades to the T-64 tank for commonality with the Oplot tanks in Ukraine service.
