Defence Services Asia: Thales memajukan StarStreak di Asia
Thales semakin hampir untuk membekalkan sistem pertahanan udara Starstreak kepada Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) selepas memformalkan satu perjanjian perkongsian dengan Weststar Group, anak syarikat Global Komited.
Tandatangan perjanjian itu telah dihadiri oleh Menteri Pertahanan Malaysia, Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein di pameran Defence Services Asia (DSA) pada 14 April.
Bercakap kepada Shephard semasa pameran itu, Ian Fuller, pengarah jualan serantau untuk Thales UK berkata perkongsian baru itu sebagai perikatan strategik yang akan meletakkan kedua-dua syarikat dalam kedudukan yang baik untuk memenuhi keperluan MAF untuk sistem pertahanan udara yang bersepadu.
