Ukroboronprom companies SpetsTechnoExport and Artem Holding have signed an agreement with Poland's WB Electronics to produce R-27-R1 guided medium-range air-to-air missiles for the Polish Air Force.

The agreement furthers the development of a bilateral consortium formed in 2016. The signing of documents expands the capabilities of consortium participants in holding new tenders for the supply of aviation weapons for the Polish Defense Ministry.

The companies are also jointly developing the ZRN-01 Stokrotka Daisy multifunctional rocket system. This system uses 80mm rocket-propelled projectiles to destroy ground and air targets at a range of up to 5km.

To develop the system, the companies have drawn on expertise within their national supply chains in the fields of rocket and missile engineering, radar, air defence control and coordination systems and systems for detecting and tracking targets in the optical range.
