SOFIC 2015: GD-OTS delivers nine GMVs
Under the Production Qualification Testing phase of the Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1 programme, nine GMV 1.1 vehicles are being delivered by GD-OTS.
Sean Ridley, programme manager for GMV 1.1 at GD-OTS told Shephard at the SOFIC exhibition in Tampa Bay: ‘The first four are doing performance and safety testing. Four more are at NATC [National Automotive Test Center] undergoing durability and reliability testing.’
The ninth vehicle, which was displayed at SOFIC is the company’s ILS [Integrated Logistics Support] vehicle that is being used to start development of training materials for operator and maintenance training.
